# Alert Response & Troubleshooting

> Est. ~20–40 minutes. This course covers the essentials for on-call engineers onboarding onto the Observability Platform. You'll explore common troubleshooting strategies for monitor configuration, and break down tools in Chronosphere for optimizing incident response, such as Differential Diagnosis. Finally, you'll learn how to identify if shaping and control rules are affecting raw telemetry data once they arrive in Chronosphere.
